insurance law specialist, Fred
concentrates his law practice
in all aspects of aviation law,
including product liability
and toxic tort litigation, airport
construction matters and insurance
policy drafting and interpretation.
A pilot himself, Fred holds a
Commercial Pilot's Certificate
for Single and Multi-Engine Land
Airplanes and Instruments. He
is also a Certified Flight Instructor
and an Advanced and Instrument
Ground Instructor. Fred represented
United Airlines in the Sioux
City, Iowa/Flight 232 mass disaster
and Fine Air in the DC-8 Flight
101 Miami, Florida disaster.
In addition to representing parties
in more than 2,000 aviation accidents,
he has enormous experience in
the management of claims administration
in large litigation cases and
in handling litigation stemming
from airport construction projects,
including environmental litigation
and construction insurance management.
He has regularly drafted aviation-related and other insurance
policy provisions. Fred also
represents many rotary wing operators,
component and airframe manufacturers,
regional air carriers, trunk
air carriers, fixed base operators,
maintenance facilities, aerial
applicators and other companies
involved in the aircraft, airline
and aerospace industry, both
nationally and internationally.
Asset Protection and Tax Planning
Terrell J. Isselhard is a shareholder
in Chuhak & Tecson, P.C.
He has established a national
practice in the areas of tax
and business planning for closely
held corporations and their owners,
health law and estate planning
with an emphasis on asset protection.
Specifically, Mr. Isselhard advises clients on the transfer of assets, including life insurance, stocks, bonds and other real estate or business holdings to various entities to safeguard against asset depletion, either through estate tax or liability claims. He has assisted many clients in reviewing their existing estate plans and implementing asset protection plans to aid in the protection of personal assets from excessive liability claims.
Mr. Isselhard advises clients on ways to reduce or eliminate estate tax liability, as well as family business succession planning issues when one generation wishes to sell or transfer business assets to children or key employees.

Gary R. Stewart is President of Ascot Aviation Contracting & Consulting, Inc., located in upstate New York.
